Some of the raw ingredients going into Todd Haug's 8-string build. He joined me (virtually) to help select the wood that would be used for his guitar body. The poplar tap-tested with exceptional tone to complement the striking color and figure. Very pleased with this choice.
Care and attention to detail invested in assembling the tuner. Each one is a precision assembly, complex enough to have a personality. I've learned a lot about machining over the past several years, including what tolerances and surface polishes bring best results. This eight string unit has exceptionally smooth tuning action.
