"I so look forward to being able to hold in my hands a guitar incorporating all of your current ideas because I find you to be the most thoughtful person I’ve met when it comes to thinking about what could be in modern guitar designs. Please do not let anything stop you on your quest!
"I consider myself so lucky to be able to now hold 'Skele' in my hands and take care of her for whatever period of time that I’m allowed with her. I’d like to think of this as the first steps in what I know will be a continuing relationship.
"It was my pleasure entirely to be able to come up, spend time with everyone, look at your work/thought patterns, play guitars that I loved, and make new friends."

Elementary School Fundraiser
Noted guitar aficionado and collector Al Shaffer stepped in at the last moment and won Skele in a fundraising auction to benefit students at Frenchtown Elementary School. Al, thank you for helping our community!
All proceeds from this charity guitar auction (100%) were donated to funding a ceramics program for our local elementary school's art program. Goal was to raise enough money to fund installation of a kiln in order to add ceramics as a permanent part of the art curriculum. Students LOVE clay! Let's help them explore!

Pirate's Guitar
This is the perfect guitar for Captain Jack Sparrow, or Keith Richards, if he ever takes to the high seas.
I built Skele to prototype some concepts including a one piece neck that extends from tuners to bridge. The guitar has a very lightweight body built like an aircraft wing. Also, the neck pickup is experimental, only 1/8" in depth.
Skele is fabricated from curly maple, mahogany, ebony, bronze and titanium. A rum flask is fitted to the body, made by Carl Giordano, tinsmith for Colonial Williamsburg. Skull and crossbones oil painting by artist Tricia Toone.
• 25.5" scale length
• Curly maple neck
• Ebony fretboard
• Stainless steel frets
• Forged titanium bridge with GraphTech saddles
• Waverly bronze tuners
• Patented Trapezoid Neck Profile™
• Titanium tube neck core
• Carved Roman numeral position markers
• Mahogany "skeletonized" body
• Hand-forged rosehead nails
• Experimental bronze neck pickup
• Seymour Duncan Antiquity 'Tele bridge pickup
• Forged titanium hardware
• Purple plush lined custom Calzone flight case
Skele has exceptional acoustic-guitar-like response. Responds to a light touch. Unique and beautiful tones, with more than a hint of classic 'Tele bite. Supremely light weight instrument, comfortable for hours of play. READ: FULL SKELE STORY
