Patent Pending. This guitar is built like a Formula 1™ race car.
Light weight speed.
Carbon fiber modular panels form a rigid substrate allowing rapid assembly and modular construction. Skele™ design methodology is in full force here, coupled with UniNeck™ technology. This is the next step in the evolutionary progression.
Dove™ series ergonomics enable this guitar to be played on your right thigh in two neck positions, including a 45 degree upright neck posture and also the more traditional seated style. Due to the instrument's exceptional balance, it stays precisely oriented to your body between seated and standing positions.
Headstock mounted tuners are a deliberate design choice. There is no faster method of tuning than left and right hands multi-tasking independently. The output jack is conveniently and unobtrusively positioned on the face of the instrument, at the base of the patented bridges.
Guitar tucks in tight against your body. Sculpted forearm rest supports your playing arm yet removes all pressure from your wrist tendons and carpal tunnel area. Your hand can comfortably palm mute strings at the bridge while your wrist floats freely, proximal row hand bones living in the space between the forearm rest and UniNeck™.
The flat carbon fiber front plane surface orients and supports the base of your thumb as you change from picking to tapping techniques. This freedom combined with support is exhilarating.
I can't wait to watch skilled players push the limits of this guitar. I am also excited to build versions of this guitar in 7-string and 8-string.
Saw the new guitar..."Ultimate Shred Machine"...it's a spectacular thing!
The modularity aspect of the design allows for SO many different iterations, versions, tweaks, customizations, etc. I really love wood...but there's something so intriguing and beautiful with how you combine it with the carbon fiber. My imagination is off the charts thinking of different ways to configure a machine to really dial in ergonomics, aesthetics, and functions.
I think a baritone fretless 7 string would fit into this design very well! :) I can only imagine what would come from something like that...
Congratulations on yet another amazing creation!
Your new guitar is stunning. Elegant and exciting! (Killick)
Out of this world. Pushing the boundaries, again and again. (Jason Rodgers)
I was instantly tempted to say the distance you’ve travelled from the first guitar we saw to this one is astonishing, but I also realize there’s a different aesthetic at work between what amounts in many ways to opposite concepts. I prefer the hyper-modern approach you’re taking now, but that’s probably the result of always having lived in NYC. The more organic approach of the older instruments has a different appeal for a different sensibility, but both are radical in their own ways. (SB)
