I've loved and followed Max's music for a couple of years. He has this sort of non-linear approach to guitar that constantly surprises me. In his late teens, he released several albums [already!] that are both: fully realized, and really damn good.

WOW! Saw the latest post about Max McCargar! Yet another amazing musician that I've discovered through your guitars!
I was up late last night listening to ALL of Max's albums, and considered what one thing folks like Max, Killick, Tosin, Gabe, Misha, Javier, Ou Yamamoto, etc. all have in common. Turns out that one answer to that question is the common thread of your guitars!
Music is a very special thing...to me personally and to the Universe as a whole (most folks don't truly recognize how important in my opinion). Your creations allow musicians to transfigure their thoughts, feelings, and emotions (which are often vibrations "received" from some greater pool out there...) into manifested reality (via sound). At that point, the real "magic" happens in that other humans HEAR those vibrations and are influenced by them (hopefully resulting in increased consciousness).
Without your machines, those sounds couldn't be manifested into actual reality. I suppose truly conscious musicians would create those vibrations/sounds/music by banging on rocks (or whatever) if they had to. But there is something really magnificent when that positive feedback loop happens between the musician and the instrument-maker. I know how inspirational your guitars are to so many artists...they tell you all the time on your website! :)
Little by little...one by one...consciousness is expanding...because of YOU and those artists making vibrations with your machines.
If Tosin Abasi was playing this everyone would be losing their shit. Great job Max!

VIDEOS: I like these performances because they are so raw and real. Unadorned. Guitar direct into Apogee One and LogicPro X. Great, great, tone...warm, woody and clear. Photos & videos courtesy Max McCargar.
