Gorgeous design and shaping of the Delrin. Beautiful and functional. Looks comfy :)

Beautiful and practical, as usual. Maybe you should give a little nod to Michael Spalt.

John ~ Michael Spalt builds beautiful guitars, for certain. However, in this instance, inspirational thanks go to classical violin design...and the traditional chin rest. Cheers!

Rick,

Do you think Delrin could be used instead of Ebony, specifically for a fretboard?

Thanks.

Rick Toone

John ~ Delrin is a challenging material to work with. It will never replace Ebony as a fretboard material in conventional neck construction techniques.

I did use Delrin for Tosin's Blur 8-string extended range guitar, and it performs with excellence in that specific capacity.
