I was awarded Patent 8,294,011 by the United States Patent and Trademark Office for my invention Positional Constant String Pitch Control System, on October 23, 2012.
On a personal note, this is the fifth patent I have been awarded — two design, and three utility patents, to date.
Positional Constant String Pitch Control System invention is used extensively throughout my recent instrument designs, embodied as the elegant body mounted tuning system beautifully machined by TOONE & TOWNSEND.
The tuner debuted NAMM 2012, this year.
This utility patent 8,294,011 provides extensive protection, covering alternate embodiments of the invention, including: system as a self-contained bridge, also various forms of fixed and tremolo functionality. Contact me for licensing opportunities.

Hey Rick,
Congrats on so many recent developments. I'm wondering about the status of your bridge as a tremolo unit? What performances trade-offs are there compared to the fixed version?
thanks

Hi Rick,
I'm curious about a tremolo version of your bridge as well. How far off are you from having this available?

There are so many tems on the market, and they each have substantial flaws. If I release a trem, I want to do it right...something truly exceptional.
Feel free to list your 'dream features' for an ultimate trem, here in the comments. I'll add your wishes to my thinking.
