Swamp ash body. Quarter sawn curly red oak trapezoid profile neck. Hickory fretboard. Walnut side markers. Abalone octave inlays. Stainless steel frets. 26" & 24.5" combined scale. Extensive copper shielding with unusual control locations. Proprietary 7075 aircraft grade aluminum neck truss structure.
Simplicity tuning system.
Two familiar characters playing with the oversized body blank, pre sculpture. Listening to the music in their heads. For some reason, I hear Jimi...could it be the headband?
EDITOR'S NOTE: G thinks I'm more accurately channeling Bjorn Borg.

Thanks, Ric. How'd you find it so fast?!

It's beautiful, and it looks really comfortable to play. I like the way the grain direction of the body is at an angle to the neck.

The shape looks really interesting, balanced in a new and unusual way... and the location of the Bridge and of the Pickup stirs more than a few interesting question. Have you already decided which pickup to use? can we know?

Alex — thank you. The swamp ash is beautiful. It is not easily seen in these photos, but the body halves are divided by a subtle centerline of hickory, same as the neck. The hickory can only be noticed from certain angles and in certain light. It integrates the aesthetics via shimmer.
Alberto — I like this shape too. It is the most comfortable instrument I have designed so far. It synthesizes lessons learned on previous designs (Orchid, Dove, Cupid, etc.) and distills them into a balanced logical form. This instrument has already been sold...so the new owner will be choosing the pickups. Likely Antiquities or Joe Barden's.
