Abstract Orchid

Orchid seems to have caught the eye of abstract artist Darlene Keeffe (Connecticut, USA) who painted her interpretation of the bass. I like the movement and rhythm of the composition, especially the yellow highlights.

Interestingly, this follows a request I just received from a book publisher in the UK that intends to include the instrument in a hardcover edition later this year.

I feel honored Orchid is getting such attention. Grateful thanks to Halie and Pam for sending us on this journey.
