End the Fed

In simplest terms, the Federal Reserve is a credit card issued by a private central bank. A credit card used to finance government spending. A credit card in your name, in my name, with a massive and growing debt balance.

A credit card which makes possible illegal and immoral actions, including: subsidies, bailouts, and forceful interference in the internal affairs of other nations.

EDITOR'S NOTE: Sing it, Brother!

Ending the FED is the most important political effort I have seen over the past two years. It bypasses the gooey mess of competing special interest groups and cuts right to the source that makes it possible — by limiting FED powers, it will automatically limit the role government can play.

This is such an important maneuver. Other nations who value free markets, sound money, and individual liberty would be wise to also begin to limit the powers of their central banks. Debt is slavery.

This Saturday — 11.22.2008 — a coordinated and peaceful protest will be held outside Federal Reserve buildings in 39 cities around the United States.
